The Programme is presented by Jon Kaye and Richard Ford who joined the show in 2006. Both are from North London and have a combined 40 years experience in radio broadcasting.

Tikkun Newsreader Lawrence Kilshaw began his career in broadcast covering international current affairs and particularly Middle East news. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict and peace process was perfect material as he tried to find journalism’s famously elusive impartiality. He moved onto business news at Bloomberg, in time to witness the dot-com boom and crash, followed by the era of easy credit, a distinct advantage when explaining the twists and turns of the crunch and recession to all sorts of radio audiences in the US and Britain.

Living in the East End, where he’s a member of the oldest synagogue in Britain, Bevis Marks, Lawrence is among the world’s few Ladino speakers, and some say his classical education lends Tikkun Spectrum Radio a certain gravitas!
