Sout al Khaleej Radio
The station first launched in Qatar in 2002 broadcasting on FM 100.8 and quickly became one of the most popular stations in the Gulf. Listeners in the region love its great mix of Arab pop, concerts and poetry as well as the major music events the station is involved in and organises. Sout al Khaleej encourages the arts and is always looking to promote and encourage new musicians and poets. Plus the station has got the best Qatari anchorpersons who work out of state of the art studios customized solely for Sout al Khaleej , the first in the Middle East to be using digital technology. Sout Al Khaleej started re- broadcasting its Qatari service across London in early 2009 and it's already proving a hit with the tens of thousands of Arabs who live in the city and who visit the UK capital through the year.
