Chinese presenter DJ Alice was voted one of the top 10 Chinese women in the UK! She also makes a cameo appearance in the Chinese GCSE paper.

Joseph Wu brings nearly two decades of newspaper journalism, TV and radio presentation to the show. He is also instrumental in CYR training.

Chinese Spectrum is our Chinese Radio Programme. It has been on air for over 18 years and is listened to by nearly 70% of all British Chinese people in the UK and even more from the Chinese Community Worldwide. Its lively content of Chinese music, celebrity interviews, reviews and chat maintain its high status within the Chinese Community. The show is also behind Chinese Youth Radio. Chinese Youth Radio was set up to help young members of the Chinese Community get involved in the broadcast media. Chinese Youth Radio encourages young Chinese people to re-examine their attitudes to politics and voting. Chinese Spectrum recently helped raise 1.3 million pounds for the Sichuan Earthquake appeal. They have also hosted the Chinese New Year celebrations in Trafalgar Square and Chinatown.

In 2009, Chinese Spectrum is joining force with the London Chinatown Chinese Association & the Confederation of Chinese Association UK to give support to the "Get Active, Get Voting 2009 Campaign", organised by the BC (British Chinese) project, and help raise awareness among the community about the importance of the European Election.
