Spectrum Interactive
We are the portal for mainstream advertisers and opinion formers to ethnic communities.

Spectrum Radio is very conscious of its position as the only station that broadcasts to the ethnic communities of London and the UK. It is a responsibility we take very seriously. That is why we see ourselves with a dual role. We have a policy of contributing to the debate on ethnicity and diversity and you will find us at every major event where these vital issues are discussed. Together with Channel 4 we were the proud sponsors of the Guardian's 2008 Ethnic Media Summit.

We are the mouthpiece of those communities in the multi cultural Britain of the 21st century.
That's why we support and encourage all our programme partners to be involved in community initiatives both big and small. Things like our Somali Show winning a prestigious business award. Read their story here.
And slightly more high profile things like the Olympics. Find out how one of the Chinese Show presenters was chosen from hundreds of thousands of people to help out in Beijing.

It has been a very busy year for the Chinese Show. They were also part of a fantastic drive to raise over 1,000,000 pounds from the UK's Cantonese Community for victims of the Shezuan Earthquake. The Chinese Show really is the mouthpiece of London's Chinatown and coordinated an on air appeal. As well as that, they found time to host the Dragon Boat Races in London.

Keep checking in here to find out the latest as we promote and get involved in the rich diversity of London. If you have an event or an initiative that you would like us to get involved in or you think there is something you would like our opinion on just email our Web-Editor, Ewan Allinson at eallinson@spectrumradio.net. We always welcome calls from journalists and community groups.
